How to Replace Green Mountain Grill Low Pellet Alarm:
Six Easy to Follow Steps to Replace your Daniel Boone Low Pellet Sensor:
- Unplug your Daniel Boone Grill before you begin
- Remove the (2) screws/bolts on the front of the Control Board Panel
- Pull the control panel out towards you. Let the control panel hang.
- Locate the smaller 6-Pin Plug on the back / top of your Control Board
- Gently remove the plug.
- Locate the ambient air temp sensor on the side of the hopper (behind small vent near bottom)
- Using a Philips head screwdriver and holding the nuts on the back, remove both bolts. Let the sensor hang.
- Next, clip off the small zip tie holding the set of wires together
- Next, completely remove black, plastic nut from the yellow low pellet sensor
- Remove the sensor by bringing your hand through the hole (created by detaching control board) and pull the sensor out of the hopper
- Both the ambient air temp sensor and the low-pellet sensor will now freely come out of the hopper.
- Replacement will be the opposite of removal
