The Portasol® Professional Self-Igniting Cordless Butane Solder Iron, from Weller®, is a lightweight, compact soldering and hot air tool that travels easily. It heats up fast using a push-button Piezo ignition, melting solder in less than 40 seconds. The Portasol Solder Iron has a gas capacity of up to 1 hour of continuous use and refills take a mere 20 seconds. It's ESD safe to protect sensitive components, switches quickly from 25 to 75 watts and for safety's sake, automatically shuts off when the cap is replaced. The kit contains five tips: PPT6 3/32" double flat soldering tip, PPT12 flame tip, PPT10 hot knife tip, PPT9 hot air tip, and a PPT11 hot air deflector tip. Other items included are a sponge, tray, tool holder, and storage case.
